Fitness Level Needed: Beginners – Advance (Yoga is a no judgment zone, flow at your own pace)

My experience:

Vibes Hot Yoga is an airy beautiful studio that is covered in Himalayan Salt and a chandelier to die for when you walk in. The studio has a great locker room with everything you can possibly need before and after a shower (trust me you will need to shower after any class). The studio has one large classroom that is heated with infrared heat and traditional heat blowers. They also provide weights and other yoga accessories that are needed for the other class options (pilates, barre, and restorative).

The class I’m reviewing is Yoga Lift; this class consists of a short yoga warm up (stretching and flows) 10 minutes to a high energy 40-minute workout using weights, and a 5-minute abdominal burnout. The last 5 minutes are used to slow down your heart rate with a short yoga flow and stretch. The heat is very much part of this workout too (105-112 degrees!) so, don’t get overconfident and start with the small weights because the heat will make the 3 – 5 lbs weights feel like 20! Some instructors break up the 40-minute weight workout with some cardio bursts in between (I skip them every time, there a little too much for me along with the heat).

I love this class because it’s a butt-kicking one every time and the instructors keep it fresh! Also, it’s the most focus on toning so; I like to sprinkle it in at least 3 times a week vs. the other two days I work on my flow (stretching) and flexibility. If you are looking for a yoga class that will leave you dripping wet this is the class for you! Ps. you will feel the burn before even leaving class.
